You may not have heard about the strict guidelines for the Certified Natural Cosmetics set by BDIH set by BDIH in Germany, but it’s the toughest certification process anywhere in the world for making sure our products are natural and organic.
Lavera obliged itself to produce more than 90 percent of its products according to the high quality standards of the BDIH* for "Certified natural cosmetics".
Our commitment to our Customers is to;
- use ingredients and raw materials from certified organic agriculture are used for the production of our products.
- our products do not include any artificial colourants, fragrances or preservatives.
- all ingredients are processed in a very gentle way
- we consciously do without animal testing, genetically modified materials and substances of living vertebrates (e.g. mink oil, animal fats or animal collagen).
With the seal of the association BDIH* on our packaging you can be sure that you will only find genuine natural cosmetics inside.

BDIHWe orientate ourselves on the guidelines for controlled natural cosmetics defined by the association BDIH (Association of German Industry and Trading Firms for pharmaceuticals, health care products, food supplements and personal hygiene products; registered association). lavera products are tested and certified by the independent institute IMO Control (institute for market ecology). The lavera skin care, body care and colour cosmetic products are, without exception, developed and manufactured according to these guidelines. For the hair care products, we use nature-near raw materials that optimally combine effectiveness and naturalness and, for the benefit of effectiveness, we accept this compromise. NaTrueThe NaTrue labels can be found on the new Body SPA* products from autumn 2009. NaTrue provides a definition of natural and organic cosmetics from experts who represent over 250 years of experience in the field of natural cosmetics. Three different quality grades for natural cosmetics were grouped under the common “NaTrue label“. For every grade (i.e. for different product groups and formulas) it sets exact minimum standards with regard to the natural-ingredient contents, maximum standards with regard to near-natural ingredients and also stipulates the organic-ingredients contents. The different grades are easy to identify as they are marked with 1, 2 or 3 stars, the meaning of which is clear, irrespective of language.

Organic plant fluids from our own productionSystem: Faces To achieve greater effectiveness using only natural ingredients, our research and development department has designed a plant-based fluid which is produced solely by laverana. The new ingredient has been created from a blend of selected oils and plant extracts. Combining the powers of these ingredients, this fluid can focus better on the requirements of the skin. The special oil blend forms a protective layer on the skin while mild extracts from grapes, peaches and apricots or other ingredients from certified organic cultivation develop their skin refining effects.
